Removed black aftermarket dovetail plate. This plate alone, without the corresponding black dovetail insert plate, weighs 5.4lbs. Taking this, the 3.71 lb male dovetail and the alt/wedge off the mount reduces its travel weight by 15.51 lbs. This reduces the initial 70.6 lb mount to 55.09 lbs.
